This policy explains how BriBuddy uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies on its website and administrative web application. The Flutter mobile application does not use browser cookies for API authentication; it stores its bearer token using the device’s secure storage.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They help websites remember a session, protect forms, preserve preferences, and understand whether important functionality is working.
Cookies we use
- Essential session cookies: keep administrators securely signed in and associate requests with the correct session.
- Security cookies: support cross-site request forgery protection, authentication, passkeys, and other abuse-prevention controls.
- Preference storage: remembers interface choices such as light or dark appearance where enabled.
These technologies are necessary for requested web functionality. BriBuddy does not currently use advertising cookies or sell cookie-derived information.
Third-party services
Infrastructure providers may process basic request information to deliver and protect the service. If optional analytics or additional third-party technologies are introduced, this policy and any consent controls will be updated before they are used where consent is required.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, security checks, saved preferences, and other administrative features from working. Closing the browser or signing out may clear session cookies depending on your browser and BriBuddy’s configured session duration.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our technology changes. Questions can be sent to support@bribuddy.trilobytes.ph.
